Jaime Areizaga-Soto is the Deputy Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has served in the DNC, The White House, the Treasury Department and the United States Agency for International Development. Concurrently he has served as an Army National Guard JAG for almost 20 years, where he holds the rank of Colonel. He holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. from Georgetown University.
Cesar De La Vega is the Juanita Tate Social Justice Fellow at The City Project. Previously he served as a Ford Foundation Fellow in the Urban Institute’s Office of the General Counsel. Cesar has also volunteered for the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and was an Education and Health Policy Fellow for the Alliance for a Better Community. He holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. from UCLA.
Fernando Hernandez serves as the Secretary of Sindicato de Trabajadores al Servicio del Ayuntamiento de Culiacán (STASAC), one of Sinaloa’s largest labor unions. He has also served as Sinaloa’s 15 and under World Boys Baseball head coach and serves as the President of la Asociación Sinaloense de Béisbol. Fernando has also worked as an advanced scout for various franchises including the San Diego Padres and the Tomateros de Culiacán.
Josue Lopez Calderon serves in the UN’s World Health Organization. In 2016 he was selected as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and as a Rotary International Convention Scholar. Josue has served in the TDRA and in the Obama Administration's White House and U.S. Department of the Treasury. He holds a B.A. from UCLA and is a 2010 Gilman Scholar to Thammasat University in Thailand.
